R&D Projects Involving Glual

Glual Hidráulica and Glual Energy have received funding for several projects under the Hazitek programme. This funding is provided by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

INTEGRIA ZE-2023/00026

The INTEGRIA project aims to develop a comprehensive digital model based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimise the main systems of floating wind turbines, including the structure, mooring system, electrical systems, access systems, and hydraulic and mechanical systems.

SCALE UP ZE-2024/00017

The objective of SCALE-UP is to validate the reliability of large-scale mechanical and structural components without the need to use large-scale test benches.

MAREK ZE-2025/00038

MAREK is a strategic industrial research project aimed at revolutionising the manufacturing and repair of critical components for the wind energy, marine and railway sectors.

WINDLIFE ZE-2025/00023

WINDLIFE aims to research and design on-site inspection, remanufacturing and functional recovery technologies to improve operational efficiency and extend the service life of wind turbines and their critical components. These technologies will also enable the implementation of new strategies for the management and operation of wind farms, as well as alternative strategies such as repurposing and upgrading.
